Egypt: Beni Suef Governorate in Egypt witnessed the horrific murder of an 8-year-old girl at the hands of her older sister after she was found murdered inside her home.
The Criminal Investigation Department of the Security Directorate succeeded in uncovering the mystery of finding the body of the child, Ritaj, as preliminary investigations revealed that the older sister of the victim stabbed her and ended her life because of jealousy, as the victim enjoyed special treatment from all members of her family.
The older sister says – expressing her condition after her arrest:
“My mind went away from me, and I began to hate my sister, who did not commit a sin in her life except that she had the family’s love for herself without knowing, so I decided to kill her and stabbed her several times until she died, and I don’t know how she did that.” I love her so much… and my mind rejects the idea that I will never see her again.”
The details of the crime are due to Major General Osama Helmy, the Director of Security, receiving a notification from the head of the Criminal Investigation Department stating that the body of a child had been found with several separate stab wounds to the body inside her family’s house in the village of Abuit, the district of Nasser Center, north of the governorate, and the speed of arrest of the offender.
The girl’s body was transported by ambulance to the mortuary of Al-Wasti Central Hospital, and the Public Prosecution was notified, which requested to summon the forensic doctor to conduct a medical examination and conduct medical examinations to determine the circumstances of the incident, the causes of death, and take the necessary legal measures regarding the incident.
