He pointed out that Dubai Police is participating with Ghiath Smart Patrol, one of the world’s most advanced security vehicles, equipped with smart devices, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the latest technological systems. The Ghiath Smart Patrol is the first patrol to be fully produced in the UAE and designed to meet the police officers’ needs. “It has various features, including emergency lights, police lights, side steps, a 360-degree deployable camera, eight exterior surveillance cameras, and a facial and license plate recognition system,” he added.
Brig Dr. Al Saadi further said that Dubai Police is also displaying the first electric SUV vehicle, “Hongqi E-HS9”, which has been added to the Force’s fleet recently to deal with various situations and help achieve Dubai Police’s strategic objective of maintaining road safety and security.
“These electric vehicles would improve traffic police performance and enhance the security presence of police officers across essential tourist destinations, including the Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, JBR, etc.,” he explained.
“The Hongqi E-HS9 is the first fully sports utility vehicle of the Hongqi brand with the functionality of an SUV. The E-HS9 can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds”. “Its battery can be charged from 0-100% in about 6 to 8 hours. The E-HS9 electric vehicle can travel approximately 440 km on a charge,” Brig Dr. Al Saadi concluded.
