United Arab Emirates: Dubai Police adds Weltmeister W5 vehicles to its fleet

Dubai Police introduces Weltmeister W5 into Dubai’s fleet of eco-friendly police vehicles. His Excellency and Assistant Commander in Chief for Operations Affairs for Dubai Police Force, Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, received a detailed and complete handover of the vehicle by Muhammad Humaid Alansari, the CEO of Alansari Motors and exclusive distributor of Weltmeister in the United Arab Emirates.

The other government officials were also present during the official handover of the vehicle. Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazourei, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, accompanied by chancellor Humaid Alansari and Juan Pablo, Managing Director of Alansari Motors, along with several other senior officials and officers from the department.

The newest addition to the Dubai Police Forces vehicles has various features and facilities to assist the department’s missions.

The Weltmeister W5 can run off at a speed of 57.5kWh. The vehicle can range up to 460 km on a full charge of its Ternary Lithium battery.

W5 interior features are Luxurious and significantly easily functional. The seats are made of premium leather with a soft-touch surface for the drivers and occupants. The steering wheel is tiltable, adjustable according to the user’s need, and wrapped with leather. Air conditioning systems are dual-zoned, which would add an edge to the comfort of the staff.

A 15.6-inch touch interactive screen on the dashboard includes different valuable attributes, such as navigation, driver assist systems, and 360 Cam. An SD card is installed to save the recordings for future use. It offers a panoramic sunroof for a better view of the surroundings. The cargo and storage space of W5 is significantly more prominent, with about 488 litres which can be expanded to 1500 litres, while the rear seats are folded forwards.

United Arab Emirates security forces are known for using eco-friendly and luxurious vehicles in their departments. Supercars in the Dubai police department have been a well-known trend worldwide. It helps enhances the security presence of Dubai police officers in famous tourist locations of the nation.
