Egypt: The Minister of Education and Technical Education, Reda Hegazy, has recently expressed immense pride and pleasure honouring the fastest “Down” runner in Egypt, Fatima Al Zahraa and crowned with two gold medals in the French World Cup. Minister Hegazy honoured the athlete on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

As per the shared information, runner and student Fatima Al Zahraa was highly praised and honoured by the Education Minister, Reda Hegazy, within the framework of the steps of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to support those with special needs.

The ceremony was conducted under the implementation of the initiative of President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi, “Kadroun Creative”, launched to recognize national athletes with special skills and talents.

The Minister expressed his immense happiness to meet student Fatima Al-Zahraa, who was fourth on the throne of the Paralympic Championship in France and won first place globally and won two gold medals in the 1500m and 800m championship, with a barrier that surpassed the number of 79 countries participating globally in the championship.

Minister Reda Hejazy explained that his children, students with disabilities, represent the pride of all of Egypt and are an example of challenge and determination, stating that they have proved to the whole world that with challenge, determination and will, there is no impossible.

He pointed out the interest of the Ministry of Education to support and encourage its children of students with special needs, supplying them with cognitive and professional development and preparing them To face practical life.

During the meeting, a conversation took place between Minister and Fatima Al-Zahraa, in which she discussed the competition and the challenges she faced in surpassing participants from all over the world, and she talked about her feeling when announcing her winning first place worldwide and her national influence when raising the Egyptian flag.
