St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew has extended Scholarship Awards to the deserving youth. More than 90 students were benefitted from the scholarship granted.

This was not for the first time that PM Drew has extended the rewards, he has been giving the scholarship awards. He explained the same and said that for many years he has been honouring the young people and this year in 2024 also has seen the largest count so far. More than 90 students have been benefitted, during the handover ceremony, held on Friday, August 30, 2024.

Prime Minister Drew further added that it is a commitment that he made and continue to expand. He encouraged all of them to do their part to raise the children well and to invest positively in their lives.

Reportedly, the students are awarded for their academic excellence and for pursuing further education. The scholarships are given out annually to a group of students.

Following the honour, PM Drew shared the glimpses of the scholarship ceremony on his social media account. The event welcomed the students along with their parents and guardians.

Prime Minister further stated that it is their responsibility to support the students for their education, growth and development. As they are committed to continuously offer the scholarship to the kids of St. Kitts and Nevis for several years in future.

He also claimed that he will continue to expand the initiative to the best of their capabilities. He gladly mentioned that he helped in easing the financial burden of many vulnerable families through the scholarship.

According to PM Drew of St. Kitts and Nevis, it is the responsibility of everyone to do their own part in giving the children a good upbringing. He encouraged the people to take the time to do the things that can impact the lives of the students positively.

Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew and Deputy PM Dr. Geoffrey Hanley had recently attended the significant scholarship handover facilitated by the government of Republic of China (Taiwan).
