Kuwait city: According to reports, the Health Insurance Hospitals Company organized a meeting with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dhaman Mutlaq Al-Sanea and the CEO, Thamer Arab.
Their main discussion of the topic was the health sector of Kuwait. Dhaman company’s role will provide compulsory health insurance for immigrants who are currently working in the private sector.
The part of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry plays in the industrial, economic and commercial fields to help achieve the New Kuwait 2035 development plan.
According to Chairman of KCCI Muhammad Al-Saqer that all the private sectors with their various commercial and industrial companies and institutions is a prominent contributor in the economy of Kuwait and also in many development sectors, highlighting the importance of the private sector in the comprehensive development in Kuwait, boosting the sector’s income, economy and government efforts in general, specifically in the health area.
In the meeting, they praised the desired roles of Dhaman Company, that they provide job opportunities for Kuwaitis in a new health care sector and their contribution to diversifying sources of and reducing the burdens on government agencies.
Mutlaq Al-Sanea, for his part, stated that Dhaman Company will play a significant role in economic diversification and health care leadership in Kuwait, as it will be the first public offering of a health care institution in Kuwait, following the start of the operating phase and completion of the necessary legal procedures.
“In addition to being the first healthcare institution in the Middle East to operate on the public-private partnership (PPP) system, Dhaman was the first in the Middle East to provide its services through the integrated health maintenance system to raise health care indicators in Kuwait through prevention and community awareness,” he continued.
Al-Sanea shows their happiness by commending the role played by the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry in developing the Kuwait economy and also shown his support toward the private sector and achieving national development.
He then pointed towards the Dhaman supports private sector companies in Kuwait by providing them health insurance, and they offered health insurance to the two million people/ residents in the private sector under Article 18 and their families through health care centres and hospitals, including private and secondary health care, and many specializations and support services.
