Saint Lucia: Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information, Dr. Ernest Hilaire recently convened a meeting with the stakeholders at Reduit Beach. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the proposal of a beach park for the area.
The stakeholders of Invest Saint Lucia were also present at the meeting alongside the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism. The Reduit Beach is a famous attraction of the island which is quickly becoming a favorite among the tourists of the country.
The Ministry of Tourism convened the meeting with the beach stakeholders to try and add to the charm of the location. The aim of the proposed new development is to add another attraction to the beach for the travellers to enjoy.
The meeting was also attended by some small-scale business owners who appreciated the government’s actions. The development will also give these small businesses a much needed boost and they will benefit tremendously from the increased footfall.
The Small Scale business owners were brought up to date with the details of the proposed development. Deputy PM Ernest Hilaire shared the details of the meeting on his social media.
“During the meeting small business owners from the area made thorough inquiries into the proposed changes. The discussions were productive and constructive,” he said.
The proposed beach park is intended to provide more comfortable arrangements for beach users and entrepreneurs who operate businesses in the area.
The Atlas Group plans to include the development of the beach area as part of the A’ila Resort and Spa tourist development in Mount Pimard.
