St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew met with the children of school and celebrated the annual event Back-to-School. It began on Monday, August 26, 2024 to mark the beginning of the New Academic Year 2024-25.
The inauguration of Back-to-School ceremony was commemorated at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, with regards and acknowledgement to all the key delegation and teachers, who were present at the event, followed by the national anthem.
On September 01, 2024, PM Drew hosted the Back-to-School Fair with school students and their parents present at the event. The event was scheduled for the students of Constituency-08.
PM Terrance Drew attended the fair with his wife Diani Jimesha Prince Drew, where they spent a wonderful time with the children. He shared the glimpses of the event on his official social media and encouraged the kids to do their best, to be kind to each other and to respect their teachers.
While sharing the moments PM Drew expressed that he spent time with students and parents at his annual back to school fair. He extended his gratitude and thanked all those who are involved in ensuring its great success.
Dr. Drew encouraged all the students to be kind to each other, to respect their teachers and to do their best, as they headed into the new academic year.
Back-to-School event brought the families together to prepare for the new session. The event featured the distribution of much needed school supplies and words of encouragement from the Prime Minister.
Along with the pictures, Prime Minister Drew also shared the highlights from the fair and it was indeed a fun event for the students. This featured various snack stalls for the children which included candies, sweets, snacks such as popcorn, fries, for drinks juices, etc.
Additionally, the playground was completely filled with fun activities and games such as archery, Jenga, running games, quiz round, etc. and various rides and slides.
The fun elements at the fair added joy to the Back-to-School Fair, and saw a face painter for the kids, they played musical chair, clicked photos at photography booth and many other.
