St. Kitts and Nevis is hosting the Business and Professional Women (BPW) International Congress. The gathering commenced on November 17, 2024, and will be observed until November 21, 2024, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and the Royal Beach Casino.
Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew emphasized that St Kitts and Nevis is the first Caribbean country to host the BPW International Congress. He shared that the Nation is proud to welcome over 300 members from the world.
Reportedly, President of BPW International (2021-2024) – Dr. Catherine Bosshart has officially invited the members and the guests, to the XXXI BPW International Congress.
While welcoming all, Bosshart said that a very warm welcome to you all on the colourful island of St. Kitts and Nevis. She added that when the visitors will come to hold the Workbook in their hands, they have already experienced a bit of island spirit at the airport or at the pier of St. Kitts.
According to her, the different air, sunshine and a light breeze will accompany the visitors on their way from the plane to the airport building or to the taxi.
Dr. Catherine Bosshart mentioned that the gathering is being conducted after seven years, after the last physical face-to-face Congress. She expressed that it is their great pleasure to see the visitors in the Caribbean Paradise.
Moreover, St. Kitts and Nevis’ relaxed atmosphere is perfect to inspire business sessions and influence the personal encounters. Conferences and Congresses like this give them a feeling of togetherness and belonging to a women’s organisation which extends over five continents and 120 countries.
Through this collaboration and innovation, the women are breaking barriers and forging new paths in leadership and development, by positioning themselves as critical players in the global movement for gender equality and empowerment of women.
Notably, the congress gathering, hosted by BPW International will provide a platform for addressing pressing issues related to gender equality, women empowerment and leadership.
