St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew attended the official opening of the Conaree Football Stadium on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Conaree Village, marking the launch of a major sports facility for the community.
Reportedly, on Saturday PM Drew marked a proud moment for Conaree Village as the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis officially inaugurated the Conaree Football Stadium. The opening ceremony began with the ribbon-cutting ceremony that signified the fulfilment of another key promise made by the government, by bringing a top-class facility to the community and boosting the passion and the growth of sports in the nation.
Prime Minister Drew expressed and said that he is still feeling the energy from Conaree. He mentioned the ribbon cutting ritual and said that it was a moment of pride, fulfilment and true community triumph. He highlighted that the Labour Party made a promise and Labour delivered it too.
Dr, Drew further noted that seeing joy on the faces of the people reminded him exactly why they keep pushing forward. He emphasised that this is their win, and a win for all of them
