Naftali Bennett, the former Prime Minister and Minister of Community Affairs of Israel expressed his thoughts about the ongoing protests in Iran, which read as follows; ”Great people of Iran, you will defeat the dictator. Freedom will overcome fear. Your courage is inspiring. The people of Israel are with you. I hope to visit Tehran Azad.”
In his official social media post, Bennett expressed his support for the Iranian general public and the fundamental rights of Iranian women.
Naftali Bennett noted that ”the people of Iran would overcome the situation through their inspiring courage of raising their voices against the unfair functionality of the government. The people of Israel are in sheer support of you”. he further expressed his wish to visit Tehran Azad.

The situation in Iran got disrupted when a woman named ‘Mahsa Jina Amini’, a 22-year-old Kurdish woman, was allegedly arrested and beaten to death by the so-called morality police of Iran.
As per the reports, the incident happened because the woman was not wearing her ‘Hijab’ properly, according to the morality police of Iran. The trend of assaulting women for supposedly improper dressing was an old issue in Iran, but the tragic death of ‘Mahsa Jina Amini’ sparked outraging anger among the women and people in the entire nation. The incident took the form of mass protests full of anger and rage against the dictatorship of the Iranian government.
Furthermore, the general public of Iran started coming up with different ways of expressing their displeasure and rage against the government. Some of the well-known female celebrities of Iran began to cut off their hair, setting their Hijabs on fire to show their emotions and feelings about the whole incident of Mahsa Amini in the protests.
