Egypt: The Minister of Environment, Yasmin Fouad, has recently witnessed a protocol signing event between the New Valley University and Environment Affairs Agency. The contracting signing took place yesterday, January 10th.
The protocol agreement was signed to implement new innovative and useful environmental projects in the field of new and renewable energy in Egypt, which would ensure the application of mitigation and reduction of Non-Eco-Friendly gas emissions.
The officials from the Ministry of Environment have conveyed that there is a selection criterion for environmental projects which would aim at financing them to achieve economic development and the Egyptian strategic goals for sustainable development in the field of environmental protection.
During the meeting, Dr Ali Abu Sunnah, head of the Environmental Affairs Administration, confirmed that the device commits, in accordance with the protocol, to provide direct financial support from the Environment Protection Fund to the New Valley University.

The Environmental Affairs Agency should participate in the monitoring and implementation of the plan, schedule and evaluation of the Project.
It is also promoting, through conferences and awareness seminars, to replicate the implementation of solar heating systems in other buildings.
Furthermore, authorities of New Valley University committed, according to the protocols and systems, to form a technical committee from the Faculty of Engineering and to participate in the Environmental Affairs Department to supervise the implementation of the Project,
also the responsibility of managing the Project, performing all its periodic maintenance work to follow-up and evaluation during and after the performance of the Project.
Additionally, Participating in the Environmental Affairs Authority and taking all necessary procedures and approvals to implement targeted projects is financing, which is determined and agreed upon by both parties. Said authorities.
