Recently Ajman Police Youth Council held a discussion with members of the Ajman Club for Persons with disabilities. The delegation of the Ajman Police Youth Council visited the Ajman club to promote awareness of the responsibility of society towards disabled persons. The delegation was led by captain Rashid Bin Hamdan Al-Naeem. He is the chairman of the Ajman Police Youth Council.
During the visit of the delegation to the Ajman Club for persons with disabilities, discussions were held on the needs of the club and ways to improve cooperation among all the stakeholders.
The chairman of the Ajman Police Youth Club was accompanied by the other members of the council. On the other side, Mr Abdullah Salem Mater Al-Shamsi, Vice chairman of the Board of Directors, along with other members, welcomed the delegation of Ajman Police Youth Council. He praised the effort of Ajman Police in the field of social service.
At the meeting discussion was held over the enhanced communication and mutual cooperation among both the parties. There were also discussions on the major challenges faced by the disabled persons. The way was also discussed to maximise the initiatives between police and Ajman club for the disabled persons, which will enhance the happiness and quality of their life as well.
The delegation members also took a tour of the various facilities of the club. The delegation came to know many facilities provided by the club to its members. These facilities include Therapeutic equipment, sports fields and a health gym. Members of club Management apprised the the delegation that the club is doing its best effort for the welfare of its members.
Management also said that they are trying to provide all basic and necessary facilities to people with special needs. It is to be specifically mentioned that Ajman police also appreciate and recognise the effort of the club towards the upliftment of the person with a disability so that they can live an independent and happy life on their own.
