Israel’s national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, said that soon, female soldiers will be banned for prision duty. They will not be deployed in high-security prisons. He also referred to this as fulfilling of long awaiting demands of public and civil organisations.

Women in Israel are bound to serve army for at least two years. On the other hand, Israeli men have to serve in the armed forces for at least 32 months. Under compulsory service, there is no exception to evade to responsibility to serve in the armed forces.

The female guard admitted intimacy with a Palestinian man, she also admitted that she came into contact with this intimate during her deployment there.

The accused Palestinian prisoner is responsible for deadly attacks on the civilians in Israel.

Meanwhile, the court hearing the case made an order that details of the accused not to  be disclosed , including the location of the prison. These orders came to ensure the impartial and independent investigation by investigation agencies.

Their future deployment will be outside the prisons, especially where highly dangerous Palestinian imate and terrorist  have been lodged.

Israeli sources quoted Mr Ben-Gvir as saying that my the mid-2025, “not a single women solider will remain on duty at high security prisons”

The majority of high-security prisons are holding Palestinian terrorists.

These terrorists are responsible for the loss of a large number of Israeli soldiers as well as Israeli civilians.

There have been repeated calls in the past against women posted in high-security prisons.

Many civil  organisations with the active support of the Israeli public demanded that services of female soldiers be stopped in high-security prisons across parts of the country.

Notably , last year Israeli minister ordered a high-level inquiry when a similar kind of incident was reported from one of the high-security prisons.

In that occurrence of last year, it was alleged that a Palestinian convict had assaulted and raped a female guard who was serving as a prison guard. Some senior official of the prison department had also “pimped out” the conscripts.
