Dubai Customs organizes awareness programmes in Modhesh City

Dubai, Modhesh: Dubai Customs participated in a series of educational and entertainment events and programmes in Modhesh City, which will continue until August 27, and was attended by nearly 100 children. Visitors to Modhesh enjoyed the programmes and events of Dubai Customs, which came with unique and fun experiences for visiting children, with the participation of a number of departments in the department, including the Social Responsibility Department in the Corporate Communication Department, the Intellectual Property Rights Protection Department, and the Technical Support Department.

The activities of Dubai Customs witnessed the presentation of an awareness workshop on social responsibility in cooperation with the Emirates Foundation for School Education and talked about the role of Dubai Customs in launching initiatives supporting community work.

The Department of Intellectual Property Awareness and Education presented an awareness workshop at the Dubai Customs summer activities through social networking programmes within the (Intellectual Property Summer). Great for participation by children, and souvenirs were distributed to them.

The Technical Support Department, represented by the K9 Customs Dogs Unit, participated in the events by presenting a distinguished presentation in front of the children and the audience about the capabilities of the customs dogs owned by Dubai Customs to detect prohibited materials, explosives and drugs, whether in bags or goods in customs centers, where Dubai Customs inspectors presented several paragraphs On the capabilities of customs dogs in detecting prohibited items, a group of children also participated in some performances, where the trainers of customs dogs were keen to teach children how to deal with dogs as well as take memorial photos with them.
