Cairo: The National Air carrier of Egypt, “EgyptAir” announced a new flight. The latest flight will connect Cairo with Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. This announcement is part of the expansion plan Of Egyptair. In the beginning, there will be two flights in a week.
As per the announcement on the social media handles of Egypt Air, the flight will fly on Tuesday and Thursday. The first flight from Cairo took off to Jakarta on 2nd November 2023. The flight used the B787-9 Dreamliner plane. This very first flight carried 234 passengers and crew members.
Yehia Zakaria, chairman and chief executive officer of Egyptair’s holding company, stated that this new route will open the gate of opportunities for people in business. Moreover, it will meet the needs of the many customers of both cities.
As large numbers of travellers travel from two countries, this flight aimed to connect the capital cities of both countries. CEO of the holding company also added that the Asian air market has a huge potential for airline companies. Egyptair will utilise all the opportunities to explore the potential of the Asian Air market.
CEO of the holding company also said that their company aims to cover a maximum number of cities. The maximum reach of the airline will benefit permanent customers of the company as the competition between different airlines is increasing day by day. He also expressed a desire to add more carriers to the existing fleet of the airlines.
On the other hand, the chairman and chief executive officer of EgyptAir, Captain Mohamed Moussa company, is studying and examining the possibilities of more routes to expand the reach of airlines. This new route will serve the customers of the company as well as it will grow the income of the company.
Additionally, he stated that the company is keen to improve the travel experience of its customers. Enhanced competition has pushed airline companies to provide cost-effective services to customers to enhance the market share.
