Dubai: A city for football fans has been launched inside Expo Dubai to receive football fans and follow the live broadcast of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the State of Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
Fan City brings together sports enthusiasts of all ages and nationalities to live in a distinctive sports atmosphere and enjoy a variety of entertainment activities suitable for all family members at Jubilee Park, in addition to an exceptionally luxurious experience in Al Wasl Square.
Entrance ticket prices start from 30 dirhams and are free for children under the age of 13. VIP tickets and a hospitality package are also available, which are tickets with special features. Tickets will be available for sale later on the Platinum List website.
The Jubilee Park welcomes fans in an enthusiastic atmosphere punctuated by distinctive interactive activities, where matches are shown on huge screens that harness augmented reality to provide an exceptional experience, and visitors can enjoy table football and air hockey games, virtual reality stations, face painting in the colours of the favourite team’s flag, and other fun activities.
Jubilee Park accommodates up to 10,000 fans and provides them with comfortable seating, communal tables, a smoking section, as well as food, beverage and ice cream vans.
The Jubilee Park receives fans from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am on weekdays and from 12:00 pm to 1:30 am during weekends.
Starting from the round of 16 on Saturday, December 3, Al Wasl Arena will welcome fans to enjoy a special show experience, the national anthems of the teams’ countries and flag raising, as well as concerts, outstanding hospitality and entertainment before and after the match.
The capacity of the Al-Wasl Arena can reach 2,500 fans, and the VIP cabin can be booked, which can accommodate thirty people. Four large screens in the Al-Wasl Dome will broadcast the matches live, enhanced by special offers on the Al-Wasl Dome, as well as special activities that raise the levels of enthusiasm.
Al Wasl Square receives fans from six to nine thirty and from ten in the evening until one thirty in the middle of the night, and holders of tickets for the first match in Al Wasl Square can enter for free to Jubilee Park.
The global sporting event coincides with the Winter City events dedicated to the New Year’s Eve celebrations at Expo City Dubai from November 23 to January 8, which means that visitors will enjoy a double dose of fun with events across the city, including a festive market and dazzling light shows And the Christmas tree in Al Wasl Square.
