Her Excellency Dr Jalila, daughter of Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, the Minister of Health, emphasized following up on all updates and developments related to epidemiological surveys and the fight against infectious diseases globally, emerging from the commitment of the Government of Bahrain to enhance the efficiency of the health system comprehensive and provide her nation by ensuring to maintain the community healthy and safe, and continue to build on what has been achieved One of the outstanding national achievements in the service of the country and the citizen.

This came as Her Excellency Chaired the first National Task Force meeting held in the presence of all members and several ministry officials.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Health welcomed all the members, citing the importance of this team’s role in advancing proactive planning pathways, taking precautionary and preventive measures and increasing preparations to enhance the response to any health updates related to communicable diseases.

During the meeting, the latest health updates related to monkey measles and ways to limit the spread of the virus and maintain public safety were discussed, as well as working on strengthening epidemiological monitoring plans and following up on the implementation of recommendations and health protocols issued by the Health Organization Universal for that matter.
