Bahrain: Dr. Jalila, daughter of Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, participated in the work of the SAGE Strategic Advisory Committee of the World Health Organization in Geneva.
Her Excellency emphasized the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to provide high-level health and preventive services through a sustainable health system, which includes raising and enhancing the readiness to face and counter several communicable diseases by providing safe vaccines and making them available to all, enhancing the Motherhood Plans Proactive health that comes in line with medical protocols Accredited globally, as well as keeping up with all health updates related to continuous research and development in the field of vaccines and the provision of prevention and advisory services on causes of communicable and infectious diseases which are of top priority.
The Ministry of Health followed that the Kingdom is one of the most prominent countries benefiting from global experiences and best health practices to provide basic vaccinations to all categories of society in order to ensure prevention against infectious diseases and protection against epidemics, an approach done His reliance for decades as through which the Kingdom made sure to face Epidemic diseases of all kinds, reducing their rates of spread, fighting and eliminating them almost completely towards a society where all its members are blessed with health and well-being.
She said vaccine coverage rates in the Kingdom of Bahrain reach a high proportion, which contributed to the elimination of many epidemics, noting that the Kingdom of bahrain’s participation in such international advisory committees is high in the fields of vaccine development and prevention contributing to highlighting Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen its proactive monitoring plans Follow-up and its preventive strategies to maintain the health and safety of citizens and residents on its land.
She added that the outstanding efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in addressing and combating infectious and infectious diseases are internationally appreciated through its leading experiences and success stories circulated as a remarkable model to support and benefit other countries on this level in line with the development goals of Sustainability and holistic health for all.
