Israel: Israel's fire and rescue authority shared an incident in which a house caught on fire today in Meofakim. The incident was reported to the fire and rescue department when a resident of the same area noticed a cloud of smoke and a loud beep from another apartment's window.

Israel: Israel’s fire and rescue authority shared an incident in which a house caught on fire today in Meofakim. The incident was reported to the fire and rescue department when a resident of the same area noticed a cloud of smoke and a loud beep from another apartment’s window.

She immediately contacted the Israeli fire and rescue department and reported the entire update and information about the fire alarm and smoke she witnessed from the neighbour’s apartment.

As soon as the officers from the fire and rescue department got the call, they reached the spot, and when the firefighters entered the apartment, they noticed a pot on the gas that caused the fire.

Furthermore, as per the reports, the fire has not caused any small or big injuries to anyone and left everyone with no damage. All the households were safely evacuated from the spot and remained safe.

Moreover, followed by an accident, it came to light that the firefighters had installed a smoke detector in the very same apartment just about a month ago.

The fire and rescue department officials further stated that installing a smoke detector in the house was due to a project and initiative of a regional station Netivot in association with the Amigour company.

In addition, the authority of fire and rescue also encouraged Israel’s residents and promoted smoke detectors use.

The fire department urged all the homes to install a smoke detector if they still have not.

Officers stated, “install it today and prevent an unnecessary tragedy!” which could cause harmful results for the rest of their lives.

The firefighters of the fire and rescue authority have been working day and night to ensure a safe environment for the resident of the nation.

They have been performing various exercises to control the incidents or accidents related to fire and make it less in the country by educating the general public on how to tackle such situations.

The Amigour company, which conducted and was involved in installing smoke detectors in the houses, is a well-known organization to provide safe and affordable housing to the people of Israel.

The company Is a non-profit organization which was founded in the year 1972. It is a subsidiary of the Jewish Agency and is Israel’s leading private housing company and second-largest public housing group.
