Iraq: The Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Mr Mohammed S Al-Sudani, has recently received and greeted a distinguished delegation of businessmen and investors from the State of Qatar, headed by Sheikh Nawaf Bin Nasser Al-Thani yesterday, May 16, 2023.
according to the updates, the meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office and featured extensive discussions regarding different topics, including economic matters.
According to the recently updated information, the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Media Office has released the information regarding the recently held meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office. Both parties met to enlighten the concept of mutual partnership along with the shared economic opportunities essential for both nations.
In addition, it was also stated that during the meeting, Prime Minister of the State of Iraq, Mr Mohammed S. Al-Sudani emphasized and stressed Iraq’s commitment to economic openness, both regionally and internationally. He specifically outlined that it is an important step to consider in order to achieve new heights in the economic sector of the nation.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Mohammed Al Sudani also highlighted the government’s dedication to establishing productive partnerships in the investment sector, with a particular focus on capitalizing on the available economic opportunities.
He stressed the importance of using all the resources and chances to enhance the economic sector of the country.
It was also claimed that these opportunities include renewable energy initiatives, as well as the strategic utilization of associated gas and petrochemicals.
The Prime Minister highlighted the government’s efforts in establishing a favourable and enticing investment environment since the beginning of its term. These measures aim to attract both local and foreign investors to Iraq.
