Dubai: The value of real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department during the current week amounted to more than 11 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the recording of 2,538 sales worth 6.69 billion dirhams, including 236 sales of land worth 1.82 billion dirhams and 2,302 sales of apartments and villas worth 4.87 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales were worth 209 million dirhams in the Al Thanyah 4th area, followed by a sale worth 135.56 million dirhams in the Al Barsha South 3rd area, followed by a sale worth 104.03 million dirhams in the Al Barsha South 3rd area.
Al-Habibiya 5th district topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, recording 73 sales at a value of 310.15 million dirhams, followed by the city of Hind 4, with 38 sales at a value of 55.38 million dirhams, and a third in the airport city, with 38 sales at a value of 135.97 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, the sale amounted to 95 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, as the most important sale, followed by the sale of 47.6 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, and finally the sale of 47.29 million dirhams in the first Zabeel area.
Al Barsha, south of the fourth district, topped the areas in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 226 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 219.86 million dirhams, followed by the Merkad region, with 213 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 322 million dirhams, and a third in the Business Bay, with 193 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 391.65 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 3.1 billion dirhams, including 88 land mortgages with a value of 1.09 billion dirhams and 426 mortgages for villas and apartments with a value of 2.01 billion dirhams, the most important of which was in the Al Wasl area with a value of 746.16 million dirhams.
As for donations, 171 donations were registered, with a value of 1.2 billion dirhams, the most important of which was in the Al Barsha area, south of the Fourth, with a value of 202.36 million dirhams, and another in Wadi Al-Safa 3, with a value of 184.96 million dirhams.
