UAE: Foreign Minster meets Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to UAE

Abu Dhabi: On 25th October, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, met Sultan Bin Abdullah Al-Angari. Sultan bin Al-Angari is Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. 

The meeting was held in Abu Dhabi as both countries are neighbouring nations in the Middle East and share a wide bond in the political and cultural aspects. Both countries have their embassies in each other countries, which also reflect their close relations with each other.

During the meeting, the Foreign Minister of UAE wished the best of luck to Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador for his successful tenure in the UAE. The Saudi ambassador also appreciates the remarkable success of the UAE in a different field to uplift the standard of living of the UAE’s Citizens.

During the meeting, ways to boost bilateral relations got major attention from both sides. They also emphasised that both nations are united to fight against the common issue of their both countries. 

It is to be specifically mentioned that both countries are major Oil-producing countries of the Middle East, and they are also committed to regional security and stability. But at the same time, both countries also have great aspirations to become the superpower of the region. It is also important to note that the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia are the most populated and largest economies of the GCC group. 

The meeting also covered the need to continue efforts to boost mutual relations in future. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the depth of the relations and deep partnership among two neighbouring nations

UAE’s Foreign Minister also said that despite some minor differences in approach on some regional and international issues, both countries resolved to stand together with each other. 

Conflict in Gaza was also mentioned during the meeting. They strongely demanded the peaceful resolution of the conflict. Moreover, they emphasized the protection of human rights of civilians in the conflict zone.
