American Airlines celebrated 20 years of non-stop service from Miami to St. Kitts and marked a significant milestone in the partnership between the federation and the airline carrier. 

It is a remarkable project that signifies a 22% increase in arrivals, as compared to the previous season, and is a testament to the strategic initiatives undertaken by Minister Henderson.

Prime Minister Drew added to his statement that every year they have contributed significantly to the festival. It is a cultural extravaganza that seeks to bring the great state of St. Peter’s together. 

The beginning of the month October is globally recognised as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It raises awareness and supports the important cause, throughout the month. 

The gathering was conducted through a Pre-COP 29 Youth Forum hosted by the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment, Climate Action & Constituency Empowerment at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. 

PM Roosevelt Skerrit advised the residents from the community of La Plaine that their heritage is not to be used for entertainment purposes but to be viewed from the perspective of potential economic benefit to the area. 

It is a renovation project which was conceptualised as a part of The Cable’s community outreach initiative for its 40th anniversary celebrations, last year.

Prime Minister Dr. Drew encouraged the players and asked them to play with full spirit, while having fun. He continued and asked them to engage in wholesome positive activities that are critical for building a nation. 

The system will comprise of transmission lines and substations which ensures that the country can connect to Hydro Power and Geothermal Power to the Centre of Control of DOMLEC (Dominica Electricity Services Limited). 

The United Airlines earlier this month announced the 2025 launch of a non-stop flight from the New York City area to Dominica. The flights will begin from February 15, 2025.

PM Drew cleared through his addressal that the St. Kitts and Nevis was on the brink of losing the previous visa-free access. He stated that if they had not taken bold or immediate action, then they would have lost the privilege of having visa-free access. 

PM Skerrit urged all to take pride in the transformation project that holds up the potential to unlock numerous opportunities for economic growth and development.
