Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar: Indian renowned actor Ram Charan attended the 3rd G20 (Group of Twenty) Tourism Working Group (TWG) meeting on Monday, held in Srinagar for the first time ever. 

The meeting aims to reflect the beauty of Jammu and Kashmir to the entire world and to encourage them to witness its grace. 

Ram Charan indulged in the meeting on the sidelines of his movie schedule in Jammu and Kashmir and called the valley of Jammu and Kashmir a beautiful place to visit and film in.

The ‘RRR’ fame Ram Charan stated that he has been coming to Kashmir because his father (Chiranjeevi) is in the same industry, and it is that kind of a place. This came during the discussion held at the film Tourism for Economic Growth and Cultural Preservation event.

He mentioned that he is the second generation carrying the legacy of his father and has been visiting the valley since 1986. He recalled the time when he first visited Kashmir, and his dad had shot in the Gulmarg, Sonamarg and a very beautiful area in the region. He also stated that it was a beautiful time when he used to come as a child, which felt like an achievement.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan also added that he came in 2016 to Kashmir and shot in the auditorium and said that there is something magical in this place which draws all the attention and people towards it.

He also felt nostalgic about visiting Kashmir, and it has been 95 years since the beginning of the Indian film industry. He stressed that exploring Kashmir would take a further 95 years. 

In his remarks, he also talked about the G20 meeting in its 3rd edition happening in Kashmir and noted that Kashmir is the best place to host the G20 meeting as it holds natural beauty and our deep love for it.

Furthermore, Ram Charan was snapped and welcomed with warm greetings when he arrived at the airport. Along with this, the delegations were also welcomed warmly at the airport ahead of the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting to be held from May 22-24.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy welcomed the guests and representatives from across the world, which included Amitabh Kant G20 Sherpa. Several performances were displayed in different forms by local artists showcasing the rich heritage and culture of Jammu and Kashmir. 

In the end, reports also added that actor Ram Charan would be featured in his upcoming movie ‘Game Changer’ with Kiara Advani.
