The President of the Public Security of Israel, Omer Barlev, expresses immense sorrow and grief at the time of the last journey to the grave of his dear friend and retired Major, General Moshe Mizrahi, Yesterday, December 12th, who passed away on Sunday, December, 11th.
Omer Barlev remembered his friendship with Moshe Mizrahi and called it a doubled loss of a great Politician and retired Major General as the country needed people like him now the most because the overall picture of independence of the Police needs their right to fight along with the saving the singling public scene.
Furthermore, during the funeral ceremony, Barlev stated that the need for such a great soul will always be felt among us and our future as a democratic nation,
without bending and blinking once a time, can stand firm against all those who try to hurt the Israeli Police for the sole purpose that is essential in a democratic country.
The Public Security Minister stated, “Be praised in the peace of the kingdom, who’s full of it is not seen, man swallows his neighbour alive”.
“And indeed – Moshe’s only teacher was before the queens and not before a man, strong and threatening as it gets.”
Moreover, barlev quoted that the people who loved him used to call him by different names, whether ‘Moses’ or ‘Mizrahi’.
He used to be a supporting hand for many of us, and he made his presence felt through his positive personality.
He was full of an infinite amount of courage and wisdom, which he used to transfer to his fellow mates. He was a person of sheer integrity and had a lot of experience in different manners, which helped many people.
His professionalism was one of his top qualities as a human being. Lastly, Barlev remembered him as a family man with a friendly nature and positive humour and a sensitive artist.
Public Security Minister Barlev also expressed his thoughts and recalled when he first met with Moshe.
Barlev stated,” “We met almost thirty years ago; already then, I was impressed by some of the standout qualities that characterized him: sharpness and clarity of thought,
professionalism and, above all, great care.” The commitment to ensuring the immunity of the state of Israel burned in him and was the pillar of fire that led the Israel police for many years, and later as his Labour Party members”.
