The Prime Minister of Israel, Yair Lapid, has shared an update in which he pointed out a new password of the upcoming government in Israel called ‘Jump Us’.
PM Lapid issued the statement followed by the expected return of Benjamin ‘BIBI’ Netanyahu as the new prime minister of the state after he won the recent election.
PM Lapid further called the new trend in the nation the latest catchphrase of Netanyahu’s government that is about to get into power in the coming times.
Lapid also stated that the media, all the networks, ministers of the future, and members of the Knesset are all following the trend.
Furthermore, the prime minister of Israel, Lapid, conveyed that the government is doing this to all the nation’s residents. The administration is saying that this is the new password, this is their attitude, that we will jump to them.
Lapid stated that in every situation, the government would say, “Jump on us. He added a few examples of the condition and mentioned, “Do you pay taxes in this country? Give them a jump. Are you guys working? Give them a jump. Are you sending your children to state education? Give them a jump”.
Furthermore, in his message, PM Lapid called the nation’s residents and asked them, “Don’t you like what they’re doing with the money you work hard for? You can give them a jump. You don’t understand why half the ministers don’t send their children to the military, but your child has to enlist? Give them a jump”.
Moreover, Yair Lapid called this trend a new concept in the history of the democracy of Israel. He stated that the nation is about to get into control of a government that tells its citizens, “Jump on us, we don’t work for you, and the citizens say, “But you are supposed to work for us, you are the government, your job is to work for all the citizens. “And the government says, “Could be, but you know what – jump us.”
In addition, Lapid addressed his fellow people and resident of the country and pointed out, “It is very clear that it frees them to work as their will without having to follow the first and important obligation of any government – to work for the citizens, respect their rights. That’s what they always wanted: to be a government without having the responsibility of a government”.
As per prime minister Lapid, the new administration is unwilling to maintain balance and peace in the country, and they have no interest in the life of the nation’s common people.
They have no interest in proper administration, in keeping the law, in keeping the public treasury, in the balance between Judaism and democracy, between security and civil rights. The country’s most sacred values have been replaced in two words: “Jump us.”
On his part, Lapid called the opposite party as “Likud fell so in love with the concept that they tell it to their voters as well. Their voters tell them we don’t understand why we surrender like this to the ultra-Orthodox and the religious Zionism.
Why is Netanyahu so weak? Why do you give up everything that matters to us? And this is what they answer them – “Did you vote for us? Suckers, give us a jump. “
Besides, the entire criticism by PM Lapid tells that the main message the incoming government conveys is that they only care about themselves. The ultra-Orthodox care only about the ultra-orthodox.
This principle that a government is responsible for all its citizens is invalid from their point of view. The code that says the government is obliged to behave with respect, show responsibility, and operate the systems for all citizens does not apply to them.
If someone comes and tells them, “But it doesn’t work like that. There are laws, there are rules”, their educated and balanced answer is that he can jump to them.
For that, I want to tell them politics is a wheel. Sometimes you’re up, and sometimes you’re down. Once you are in the coalition and once you are in the opposition. Said PM Lapid.
