Dominica: The DA Sports Vybez organization has updated the information and schedule regarding the Sports Division Secondary School Football Competition, which was resumed on 6th January Friday, with 5 (five) opening games.
As per the recent updates, the football matches kicked off with a win for Portsmouth Secondary School over Goodwill Secondary School with the score line of 6 goals to 4.
The star player of the match was Je Dyan Lockhart, who scored two (2) goals, whereas one (1) goal was scored by Kishon Valerie, Jeriah Lewis, and Cliff Simon, along with Quincy Gross for Portsmouth Secondary School.
On the other hand, The team of Goodwill Secondary School scored one each goal by D’andre Peltier, Diamond Dominique, Josimar Gustave and Okang Xavier.
Furthermore, In the doubleheader contest at Portsmouth in the U17 Division, the Saint Mary’s Academy was defeated by the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School by five goals to nil.
In addition, the players named Johnsly Meliard scored two each, and for Isaiah Thomas Secondary School, Chinna Anthony, Dervaugh Jno Rose and Jaheem Cuffy with one goal each.
Moving forward, in the game of two in the U20 Division, the AcademiX School of learning won by three goals to 1 over the North East Comprehensive School.
Additionally, the top scorers for AcademiX were Ricardo Leblanc, Kadeem Moses and Malik Dublin, who led them to the win with one goal each. Tyrese Carbon scored the lone goal for North East Comprehensive School.
As per the latest statistics, at StockFarm, a second doubleheader was played where the teams in the Under 15 Divisions took part. During the match, Dominica Grammar School was defeated by the Castle Bruce Secondary School by three goals to 2.
The reports further stated that for Castle Bruce Secondary, the top scorers were Allison Gasper, Yannick Vigilante and Nickeyel Laurent, who scored one goal each. On the opposite side, Chance Marshall and Geovanni George scored one goal for the Dominica Grammer School, respectively.
In the end, the Under 20 Division Dominica State College handed over the loss to the Dominica Grammar School by three goals to nil. During the match, Lebron Marshall, Felix Anslem and Keeyan Thomas scored for Dominica State College.
