As per the available information, the Indian writer and communication specialist Prasoon Joshi asked for the opinion of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi about how he wants the people to remember his legacy and the works he has been doing for the enhancement and development of the nation.
To answer the question, PM Modi went back in time and used an example of the Indian Vedas to convey his thoughts and mentioned how many of the attendees knew or remembered the names of the creators of the Vedas,
The oldest written Indian religious texts, yet most people do not know their names. ‘’Then Narendra Modi is not more than a small part of the universe,’’ he said.
Furthermore, PM Narendra Modi continued his statement and pointed out he was not born to register his name in history, nor has it been his motive for all these years of his serving period.
In addition, he added that he would only like for the people of his country to treat and think of him as no more than other residents, as he is one of them and will be for the rest of his life.
Additionally, the Indian Prime Minister stated that he is only doing his job with immense passion, respect and love that he has for his country, just as any educator, teacher, or lawyer does their work with full potential.
He chose his words with extensive humbleness while answering and added that he is just one of those people who want to complete their work and given duties, and he is fortunate enough to get a chance to serve his country in such a position.
During the event, PM Narendra Modi carried his thoughts further and said that the nation is above all and himself, which should be remembered by the world, not his presence, because he only wants to be identified by his country’s name and pride.
He concluded during his end notes that India should be recognized worldwide as a nation that shows the right path to follow in dealing with challenges and getting over them positively.
Nowadays, India holds the potential to fight with every difficulty and supply all the means to help others as well. ‘’I have no interest in polishing my image; the only difference I want to make is to work towards growth and development of his country, which I could spend rest of my life on,’’ PM Narendra Modi said.
