Dominica: The DA Sports Vybez organization has recently shared an update in which coach Albert Wang Titre has pointed out the position and future scope of Dominican Woman Athletes in sports and the hardships they have to face during their sports careers.
As per the update shared on the official social media handle of the DA Sports Vybez organization, Coach Albert Wang Titre has stated,
“Take this in, I’m looking at the opportunities that are available in Women’s sports, and I am like, “Damn, wake up ladies”. Coach Titre passed the message to wake women athletes and achieve great heights in their careers.
In addition, Albert stated that women’s Sports in the Caribbean region have been moving forward rapidly on good terms; I’m looking at the West Indies Women and the process; it’s an ideal opportunity for young ladies.
Furthermore, women’s football was also addressed in the message passed by Albert Wang Titre, and the sport has been providing huge opportunities and new facilities even after their playing careers.
Additionally, the way forward was explained by Albert as it is evident that there needs to be more facilities and support from the clubs’ associations. Still, the ladies must gear up and play their part in accomplishing the goals.
“We are in a time where we are fighting for equality for all; women in sports want the same treatment. “WELL, SHOW IT”, said coach Albert. Women in sports should be looked at the same way as men.
Moreover, Albert also pointed out the current position in woman sports and stated, “How can we want equal opportunities when WOMEN IN THE SPORT STILL FEEL THAT THEY HAVE TO BE PITIED?”.
Over and above all, Albert Wang Titre addressed that woman athletes should take responsibility for the actions by which they would excel in their careers,
“The first step is making a personal choice or committing themselves to something, the opportunities are there, and they are here. Stop waiting for people to drag you or spoon-feed you all”. He added.
“HARD WORK AND DEDICATION ARE KEY TO SUCCESS”.
