Dominica: The Dominica Youth Business Trust (DYBT) organization has recently shared an update regarding the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP), which will commence from 6th March 2023 to 31st March 2023.  

As per the updates, the Entrepreneurship Development Programme will be launched to target Dominica’s youth, ranging from 18 to 35 years. 

In addition, the management of the Dominica Youth Business Trust has conveyed that the programme will encourage people to engage with entrepreneurship culture and its basics.     

The DYBT has announced the start of the Entrepreneurship Development Programme to provide people with advanced training materials related to every essential aspect of the business world to make interested candidates more familiar with the concept of business.

The authorities of the DYBT (Dominica Youth Business Trust) have confirmed that the Entrepreneurship programme will cover distinct topics and training sessions for the registered candidates during its commencement period, which read as follows,

– Market Research

The learners and students will learn about the different methods and techniques essential to conducting a successful market research operation, which plays a vital role in planning and implementing the business strategy according to its consumer as per the market demands.

– Business Plan Development

The Entrepreneurship Development Programme will also cover training sessions to provide better knowledge and understanding to the students regarding improvised ways to draw a blueprint or pathway that the business will follow along with building plans for the organization.

– Export Market Access

During the training period, the students will engage in sessions dedicated to the explanation of export market access which is an essential aspect of the business; the student will learn the basics of exports and how to conduct such operations effectively.

– Intellectual Property

DYBT has pointed out that intellectual property will be an essential part of the training sessions as the students will be guided towards having an open mind with creative thoughts, enhancing their ability to think out of the box and invent great outputs.

– Digital Marketing Basics

During the course, students will get engaged in training exercises related to digital marketing basics as the world has been moving rapidly due to the help of digital marketing, which joins the world irrespective of the place, an essential aspect of the Entrepreneurship journey.   

Moreover, the DYBT management has also announced that 6th February 2023 is the deadline to register for the course. DYBT has encouraged the students to register as soon as possible to grab the opportunity and enhance their capabilities and knowledge.
