United Arab Emirates: Dubai Police Force Department General Command recently welcomed a Navarra Spanish University delegation.
As per the recent updates, the IESE Business School University of Navarra is ranked in the top 10 business schools in the world, whose delegation recently paid a visit to review the latest systems of the Dubai police in operations managing people and other services related to the force.
Furthermore, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academic and Training Affairs, Prof Major General Ghaith Ghanem Al Suwaidi, welcomed Prof Morris Las Hera and the accompanying delegation of 44 postgraduates from 32 nationalities.
Dubai Police Command & Control Centre
Al Suwaidi accompanied the delegation to the General Department of Operations and to the Command and Control Centre, where they were explained the working mechanism and techniques of the departments, initiatives and latest services that enhance and promote the security and safety of the emirate.
During the visit, the delegations were also introduced to the addition of the centre’s equipment, such as a 3D map covering the UAE area and the police patrol system, to ensure efficient and timely responses regarding emergency calls.
Moreover, the delegation of the Spanish business school also met with the Scientists Council, directors of the Dubai Police’s Councils, Innovation Council, Women Police Council, Students Council Happiness and Positivity Council, Scholarships Student Council, Youth Leaders Council, College and University Students Council, and Sports Council, People of Determination Empowerming Committee.
The reports have stated that the visiting group was briefed on the prominent efforts exerted by councils in achieving the strategic objectives of the Dubai Police strategic plan.
Smart Police Station (SPS)
In the end, the delegation also visited the Smart Police Station SPS at the Main HQ. They were briefed on the services and functions provided by the station force to the customers 24/7, available in seven distinct speeches.
The officials from the SPS have conveyed that they offer 45 services, including crime reporting and traffic accident-related incidents.
In the end, the delegation expressed their high admiration. It applauded the departments for the latest technologies and management methods applied by Dubai Police to ensure the highest levels of public security and safety.
