During the flight, the crew members of the airline found the woman unconscious. Thinking about a case of a heart attack, the crew members attempted to give a CPR therapy and also deploy a defibrillator, but she did not respond positively to the efforts of the staff members.

It is worth mentioning that Under the aviation rules and regulations, flight attendants of the planes are duty-bound to provide emergency medical care to any passenger who accidentally falls ill in midway through the journey and bound to do their best to save the life of a sick passenger.

As there is a lack of space in the plane, all the emergency care procedures, like CPR, etc., are carried out in the aisle or galley in full view of passengers.

Moreover, in critical cases where the condition of an ill passenger is in huge danger, and the basic emergency care procedure does not work, then the ill person is generally moved to an occupied row or a business class section where it is covered.

Aviation rules also made it compulsory that a passenger can be confirmed dead only by local authorities when the plane lands at the airport, even if death occurred in the flying plane.

The same happens in this case, woman actually died midway during the journey, but the plane staff didn’t declare her dead until the plane touched the land.

The official declaration of death was confirmed when the plane was down in Sydney in the afternoon. All the documentary work and other formalities were completed after reaching the Sydney airport.

The incident comes at a delicate juncture as Australian aviation authorities are in consultation with the official from Qatar on the contentious issues pertaining to rejections of entry of additional Qatar Airways into the country.

It is considered as big jolt to the Qatri Air industry and especially to Qatri Airways as they are planning to expand their business to many other countries that are out of reach of Qatri Airlines till now.

Australian authority’s decisions with regard to the rejection of additional entry of Qatar Airways in Australia have rocked the aviation industry across the country with calls for a declaration on why it was made.

Qatari authorities are discussing the matter with Australian counterparts to sort out the matter as soon as possible so that the decision of Australia does not negatively affect the Qatari aviation sector.
