Qatar wants good relations with all countries

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, who is also an advisor to Qatar’s prime minister and also holds the position of official spokesperson of ministery of foreign affairs, emphasised that Qatar is keen to enhance its relations with almost all countries worldwide.

He also stated that Qatar is interested in developing cooperation through strategic dialogue, joint-level committees and political consultants.

He was speaking in the weekly media briefing; the spokesperson also highlighted the importance of the Horticulture expo under the patronage of his highness Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. He also delivered a speech on the occasion.

He also mentioned that Qatar’s hosting of the Horticulture Expo 2023 aligns with Qatar’s commitment to sustainable development, both nationally and internationally.

He emphasised that the exhibition of the expo represents a qualitative addition to Qatar’s initiative to ensure a safer and more stable future for people worldwide.

Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari , who also pointed during speech at the expo , that the prime minister and foreign affairs minister appreciated the noble directive of HH the Amir regarding the importance of achieving a balance between development projects and the protection of the environment by adopting the measures for sustainable development.

Dr Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari also added that on the sidelines of the exhibition’s opening ceremony, the prime minister and foreign minister met with several senior officials.

During these meetings, they reviewed the cooperation relations and discussed the different ways to support and enhance them as well as discussed the latest regional and international developments.

During this weekly media briefing, he said, they also reviewed the most prominent activities during the past week where the prime minister and foreign affairs minister received the PM of the Republic of Yemen .

During the meeting with the prime minister of Yemen, leaders of both countries discussed the Yemen crisis.

Both countries agreed that the only path to resolve the Yemeni crises with Houthi militants is a medium of negotiations and dialogue.

Dr Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari reaffirmed Qatar’s enduring support for Yemen and its people.

In a media briefing, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari also underlined the outcome of his meeting with Yemen officials .

They discussed importance of Sep 28 and 29 in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Costa Rica.
