Dubai is among the top ten cities to live in 2024

According to a recent report on the world’s best cities released by Resonance, Dubai found a place in the top ten cities. Resonance is a global place branding advisor. Dubai left behind Sydney, Washington, Melbourne, Zurich, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Amsterdam in the global ranking.

Dubai is ranked in the top ten due to liveability, lovability, and prosperity.Although varying and negative opinions of people about London, London is still number one in ranking to live in 2024.

The list also includes names of cities that are worse to live in 2024. These worse cities’ names include like San Francisco, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Washington, Istanbul, Viena, Toronto, Boston,Melbourne, Zurich,Sydney etc.

Under the indices of livability, lovability and prosperity many factors are included such as , walkability,sights and landmarks,parks and recreations,airport connectivity,museums,nightlife,restaurants,shopping,attractions,educational attainment,human capital,number of startups,etc.

Similarly other cities of the UAE region that find mentioning  in the list are Riyadh at 28th, Doha at 36th, Kuwait at 58th,and Muscat at 89th. At the same time, Abu Dhabi is ranked 2nd in the Arab world and 25th place overall.

The report also mentioned specifically, “Famed for outlandish development like palm Jumeirah, home to Atlantis,  and made famous by –Tom cruise burj khalifa-the tallest building in the world , the city has , over the years, made breaking world records tallest,longest,fastest,largest,think of it anyway ,and the city’s probably done it.”

Report further specified that “no wonder it ranks No.8 in our attractions subcategory,crammed with never-ending malls,aquarium,indoor ski parks,dancing fountains ,fantasy theme parks and disneyfied water playground that pay homage to Hollywood,Bollywood,marvel as well as innumerable family-friendly resorts”

CEO of ‘reasonance  consultancy‘ also stated that our cities have left behind the pandemic, they walk forward in lockdowns , our urban centres and their citizens ,are completely rethinking what they consider desirable in a place to live , work or play

CEO stated that the team at Resonance has conducted a deep research on these cities.
