Kuwait: FM condemned inhuman practice by zionist authorities against Palestinian citizens

Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, reaffirmed his strong condemnation regarding the inhuman practices committed by the Zionist occupation authorities against the common Palestinian people who are unarmed and helpless.

During his address at the extraordinary ministerial meeting of the Arab League Council on the ground situation in occupied Palestine on Wednesday, Sheikh Salem stated that the Zionist entity’s recurrent crimes and disrespect towards the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque is a grave and crystal clear violation of principles defined under the international law and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions adopted  for protection of human rights.

“The State of Kuwait stressed that the role of the international community has become vital to end the violation of human rights in the Gaza Strip, Sheikh Salem said.

While Urging all parties to the conflict to end the war, to decrease civilian casualties, and exercise maximum restraint, he added that the United nation Security Council should take necessary action at their level to end the war. Additionally, he said the UNSC has great responsibility to end the war crimes being committed by the Israeli Occupation Authorities against the innocent Palestinians Gaza Strip.

The Kuwaiti minister underscored  the need to find a fair, impartial and durable solution to the 75-year-long conflict to secure peace, which is essential for the overall stability of the entire Middle region. Further Noting that the question of Palestine’s independence
is a fundamental issue for all Arabs and Muslim nations; he reaffirmed Kuwait’s solidarity with the people of Palestine in their struggle to obtain their legitimate and legal rights based on the Arab peace initiative of 2002 and the relevant UN resolutions.

He also suggested that Israeli occupation authorities must adhere to the terms and conditions of the Arab peace initiative, of 2002 to bring peace and stability and end the war.
