PRCS, Palestine Red Cross Society, on Friday claimed that they are receiving threats from Israel to Evacuate the Al-Quds Hospital. Hospitals currently house a large number of displaced people, including women and children from conflict zones. They also claimed that Israel threatened to Bomb the Hospital if evacuation not carried out immediately.

PRCS, a prominent humanitarian group in Palestine, took to Twitter and disclosed these threats. As per the group, Israel’s threat put the lives of innocent women and children in imminent danger who took shelter under the hospital roof. There is also high apprehension that if Israel carries out these threats, then a bomb attack can turn the hospital building into rubble within minutes by causing loss of human lives.

PRCS also appealed to the International community to come forward and exert pressure on Israel to stop it from attacking the Al-Quds. According to all international humanitarian law, attacks on education and medical facilities are serious crimes. They urged the international community to take urgent action.

Notably, last week, Al-Ahi Baptist Hospital came under Attack. In that Attack, nearly 471 people died, and many more were injured. However, both sides blamed each other for the Attack on the Hospital.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the ongoing conflict began after Hamas launched rocket strikes against Israel on 7th October. Hamas gave this Attack name “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood”. Hamas justified this operation as a retaliation for the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the growing violence by the Israeli settlers against the innocent citizen of Gaza strip.

It is also noteworthy that, in response to Hamas’s Attack, Israel also started “Operation Swords of Iron”, targeting Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Moreover, before any ground invasion, Israel declared a full siege of Gaza with a blockade of water, food, fuel and medical supplies.
