Baghdad police arrest two for stealing seven million dinar

In a breakthrough development, the Anti-Crime Directorate/ Al-karada office of the Baghdad police department arrested two people. These two were accused of theft of seven million dinars from residential apartments in the centre of Baghdad.

The Police of Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate / Al-Karada Office in recent time announced that they have arrested two accused for stealing a huge amount of money amounting to seven million dinars. They stole this amount from  a house which was located inside the centre of the Al-Karada area of central Baghdad city area. The arrest by the Police was made after they received  information.

They received information about a theft incident and after an in-depth investigation and collection of evidence and data, the Police started their investigation, which ultimaely led to the cracking of the theft case.

It is to be added that after a great and distinguished effort, police officials successfully reached the accused and arrested them,

After the arrest accused were produced before the judge, where the investigative papers were presented before the eyes of the investigating judge, and their arrest was declared legal  according to the provisions of Article 446 of the Penal Code to receive their fair punishment.

On the other hand, the directorate’s arrest warrants have also executed for number of accused for stealing motorcycles and tech bikes, stealing women’s bags, shops and others by forgery and who were  wanted in various criminal cases. Now police will start the further proceeding against all of them to make sure they do not get escape from the punishment  of law.

Baghdad police department official stressed that the department is working well to make the city crime-free free and he also asked the general population to assist the Police in maintaining order and law. He also ensured the general public that the department would try to award maximum punishment for the accused of the heinous kind of crime.
