Egypt: The officials of the State Information Service, Egypt, have shared an update today, December 24, regarding the official launch of the ‘Talgo’ luxury trains. 

As per the recent updates, the State Information Service has also provided the schedule and flight timings of the newly launched Luxury Trains in the country. The officials stated that the first trip of the ‘Talgo’ will start from the Egypt Station Premises to Sidi Jaber and Egypt stations in Alexandria governorate.

Whereas, as per the information from the State Information Service, the luxury train will have a fixed schedule and will be running daily from coming Sunday, 25-12-2022, at 5:55 am from the Egypt railway station in Alexandria,

 

the next start of the train will be followed by 6:05 am from Sidi Jaber railway track heading to Sidi Jaber station Egypt from 2 pm (14 o’clock) from Egypt premises station from where it will be moving towards Sidi Jaber in Alexandria. 

Furthermore, the two provided dates will be settled in the established schedule for the train’s daily operations; when the other contracted trains arrive, they will be handled and operated on the Cairo /Aswan line along with the line of Cairo/Alexandria.  

In addition, the officials from the State Information Service have conveyed that the ‘Talgo’ trains are the first of their kind in Egypt, with modern technological advancement and high moving operational speed of around 160 km per hour.

The train also includes an ariel system to absorb vibrations from the outer side, which adds extra comfort to the passengers’ journey with such high-speed moving transport.

Moreover, Talgo also includes separate chairs and a sitting area for the VIPs and VVIPs, along with special display screens for each of the chairs in Araba T’s first-class carts. 

According to the sources, the Talgo luxury trains will have top-class medical first aid services during its moving period in case of any medical emergency, which would be tackled efficiently.

The safety measurements taken in the ‘Talgo’ luxury trains are of top quality with a variety of systems, including Fire alarms to keep the passengers safe from fire incidents, 

Water sprinklers of the latest technology and water cycles are also installed in the train of the newest design specifically targeted for some concerned people and VIPs.

Surveillance cameras and rooms are built on the train for better security of the passengers and support staff of Talgo. 

The train management system also takes the food arrangements in the train very seriously as they offer a buffet with the highest food quality for the travellers.
