Abu Dhabi Technical participates in the largest 3D printer at Gitex

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training is participating in the GITEX Technology Exhibition 2022 in Dubai as part of the Abu Dhabi government pavilion participating in the global exhibition.

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training is participating in the GITEX Technology Exhibition 2022 in Dubai as part of the Abu Dhabi government pavilion participating in the global exhibition.

During its participation, the Center displayed one of the largest 3D printers in the Middle East and the world, as the printer attracted the attention of visitors to learn about this new technological innovation.

Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, said: “Abu Dhabi Technical’s participation in this prominent global event comes within the framework of the wise leadership’s interest in empowering the youth and students of the state and ensuring their participation in such global forums that deal with the most advanced technologies in the world.”

He explained that the 3D printer that Abu Dhabi Technologist participates in at GITEX is one of the global innovations that are located in the Center’s “Innovation Park” centre, through which a culture of creativity and innovation is instilled among the youth of the country and students of the Center’s university and educational institutions.

He stressed that the students of the Center’s institutions have a specialized and integrated educational system with advanced scientific curricula and international standards in various engineering, technological and medical disciplines, which is the direct reason for their excellence and their enjoyment of high-level scientific and academic capabilities, enabling them to offer innovative digital solutions in various technical fields to ensure the welfare of society.

For his part, Eng. Fahr Al Suwaidi, the official of the Abu Dhabi Technical Platform at GITEX, said that the 3D printer attracted the attention of officials, students and all segments of society, who interacted with technicians and high school students of applied technology to find out all the details and features of this innovation, which opens future prospects for everyone.
