Jordan: The Director of Public Security, Major General Obaidullah Al-Ma’aita, has emphasized the importance of the role of the Family and Events Protection Administration in maintaining the safety and Security of the community and family and providing a safe environment for citizens and residents in the territory of the Kingdom.
According to recent information, during the visit of General Al-Ma’aita of Jordan Public Security to the Department of Family and Events Protection and meeting their salaries, the Deputy Commissioner noted the need to maintain family security and strengthen legal and social means necessary to preserve the family in all its components.
Furthermore, it was reported that being a fundamental block in building the community and legal and behavioural dealing with incidents in optimal and preferred ways to regulate and adjust their behaviour, and in line with Our social stability, is part of a participatory approach with all relevant institutions.
The Director of Public Security added that the Directorate is seizing all available possibilities to upgrade the administration’s work system aimed at protecting the family and all its members from qualified and trained human forces in dealing with these issues. He especially emphasized on women, children, and older people are the most vulnerable to neglect and violence.
Public Security Director further stated that the most vulnerable should be provided with an advanced artistic and technological working environment capable of Dealing with everything that concerns family and members thoroughly.
The acting brigade warned that the Directorate of Public Security does not make any effort to translate its aspirations aimed at upgrading the culture of the community’s people from the effects of domestic violence. Such results can be achieved by expanding the creation of more Family and Event Protection departments to provide security, humanitarian and social services to citizens in all their residential areas.
The Director of Public Security praised the quality awareness efforts carried out by the administration, in coordination and harmony with various partners, through the mobile awareness team, which greatly contributes to the strengthening of the preventive side of different segments of society on how to deal with the causes of violence efficiently and effectively.
In the end, the Deputy General listened to a briefing by the Director of the Family Protection and Events Department about the workflow, efforts made, and plans to achieve the best interest of the family and all its components.
