Israel: The Opposition leader of Israel, Yair Lapid, took to his Facebook account in order to promote national discourse, not to be divided into two nations. He stated, “I lay here on the table what a proper procedure. What does a presidential committee mean in the nation? How is it supposed to work?”
As per the updates, Politician Lapid issued a statement regarding the current government of Israel through his official social media account and said, “On Monday, there was a huge demonstration here in Jerusalem. A demonstration of power and patriotism and civil obligation.”
He further added, “Following the demonstration, Minister of Justice Yariv Levin Zuman for Prime Minister Netanyahu. They held a lengthy emergency meeting, saying they would sit for four hours. This is how it should be. We are in a state of emergency.”
Furthermore, Yair Lapid mentioned the current situation in Israel and called as, “We are in the midst of the largest national crisis in the history of the country. This crisis is already hurting the economy, and the banking system officials explained yesterday to the Finance Minister that the money is already fleeing from Israel.”
“This will hurt the livelihood of every Israeli citizen. The crisis is hurting national security. More than anything – the very idea that we are one nation is in danger,” conveyed Lapid.
Moreover, he pointed out, “The government has a responsibility as with the power comes the responsibility.” In his social media post, he said that to strengthen the economy, security, and unity of the people, the administration must think about their people.
Instead, this government is doing exactly the opposite. Netanyahu and Levin brought it on us, it is appropriate that they hold an emergency discussion about it.
“Only after four hours of a discussion towards emergency, they did what they always do: instead of doing something fundamental, real, in the face of a national crisis, they invented another PR exercise.” Confirmed Yair Lapid.
Additionally, Levin and Rothman issued a fake announcement that they were inviting the opposition to a nightly discussion with the president. Yair Lapid cited, “They knew, of course, that it was an empty proposal. After all, not only me but the president of Israel also conveyed them in advance – they must first announce that they are stopping the legislation before the first call.”
