The Minister of Social Development of Jordan, Bani Mustafa, has recently updated that the Ministry and the Fund continue to deliver and promote services to poor and needy families.

The Minister of Social Development of Jordan, Bani Mustafa, has recently updated that the Ministry and the Fund continue to deliver and promote services to poor and needy families, active charities, support productive family projects and projects of productive families and provide for the needs of people with disabilities in integrated day-care centres.

On her part, Bani Mustafa clarified during a field visit to Karak Governorate, which included the southern locks, during which they checked service centres and a number of associations and low-income families, that the Ministry of Development takes notes from the field and reflects these notes to decisions to serve the citizen.

She further added that the ministry attaches special importance to field tours, implementing the government’s royal guidelines to be in the field and closely touch the needs of citizens and meet their demands, improve services, and follow up on all observations and demands.

“We look at the associations as a partner we work with to serve the citizen, highlighting the ministry’s efforts to alleviate the difficulties faced by its work in order to achieve the desired goals,” said the Social Development Minister, Bani Mustafa.

The Minister indicated that there would be a partnership with different parties within the accommodation alternatives plan aimed at integrating people with disabilities through training them and finding job opportunities suitable for them and their respective abilities.

In addition to heading towards a productive approach aimed at finding employment opportunities and achieving economic empowerment of women and seeking to get families out of the circle of aid towards production.

At the beginning of her tour in the Al-Naka Ladies Association to empower women, Bani Mustafa looked forward to her productive projects that help empower women economically and educate people with disabilities.

The officials also took an inspection tour of the Botas Center for integrated day services in the Southern Jaguars, during which she checked out the work of the centre and important needs that are raised from a level.

During the tour, Bani Mustafa visited the houses of a number of poor families in the southern Jealousy regions and listened to the people and how to provide assistance to them through the Directorate of Social Development in the brigade, at the same time, facilitating citizens to get the required service in case the terms and conditions apply.

During her visit to the Al-Hope Charity Society for the Care of Persons with Disabilities in the Gore Al-Mazraa region, Bani Mustafa visited the Association’s facilities and listened to an explanation from the Association’s Chairman of the Board, Naif Al-Rawashda, about the services provided by the Association to the residents of the local community.

In the end, the Minister lauded the efforts of the Association, which constitutes a special beacon of hope for women working there, congratulating everyone in the midst of celebrations on Dignity Day and Mother’s Day.
