Egypt: The Minister of Environment of Egypt, Yasmin Fouad, has recently participated in the Easter celebrations of the Coptic Brothers and extended heartfelt greetings and congratulations to Pope Tawadros II on the auspicious occasion. During the event, she was accompanied by a number of ministers and professionals from different creative industries.

According to the shared updates, Minister Yasmin Fouad shared a glimpse of her visit through the official social media handle of the Ministry of Environment. In her remarks, she noted that the celebration event was organized at the headquarters of Marksia Cathedral in Abbasia.

Furthermore, it was said that “Dr Yasmin Fouad, the Minister of the Environment, headed to the headquarters of the Marksia Cathedral in Abbasia to congratulate His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch Caraza Marksia.”

In addition, Yasmin Fouad also met with the Coptic brothers in their Easter celebrations in the presence of a large number of ministers, conservatives, writers, media, artists, members of the parliament and elders, said updates.

During her visit, the Minister of the Environment, Yasmin Fouad, expressed her sincere heartfelt congratulations and sincere wishes to the Coptic brothers on the Easter celebration. She further affirmed that the Egyptian people are one tissue; they unite with one homeland and one hope in building the future of Egypt over the ages.

She extended her remarks and noted, “Wishing God to return this precious occasion to His Holiness the Pope, and all Coptic citizens, with good health, I wish you all the best, and may our country and its citizens sustain goodness, security and peace.”

During the end, Dr Yasmin Fouad praised the fruitful collaboration with Pope Tawadros II in enhancing the role of the Church in preserving the environment and combating the effects of climate change.

She concluded by emphasizing the Church’s role as an active partner to raise citizens’ awareness of the importance of participation in climate and environmental work, promoting the values of volunteering, and adopting sustainable production and consumption.
