In a strong message, Qatar strongly condemned the attack on the Al Aqsa mosque storming. Moreover, Qatar also criticised the severe imposition imposed on worshippers by Israeli occupation authorities,  the storming of hundreds of settlers within the blessed Al–Aqsa Mosque, and rejections of requests of the churches in Jerusalem and Haifa for protection from the attacks of extremist groups.

Qatar described the actions and decisions of occupation authorities as a provocative attack on the feelings and emotions of Muslim and Christian communities worldwide. At the same time, Qatar emphasised that provocative action will only deteriorate the situation.

A statement issued by the foreign ministry of Qatar also warned that there must not be any change in historical and legal status of Al Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem and other holy sites near these historical places. Otherwise, retaliatory action will make the situation troublesome.

The statement accused the occupation authorities of Israel of causing fresh violence and called it Israel’s systematic escalation policy against the people of Palestine, their land, their holy sites, etc.

Qatar also called on the international community to put  pressure on Israel to stop violence. A global community with mounting pressure can bring the Isreal on negotiation table.

Moreover, international pressure can force Israel to ensure the safety of the holy sites under the Israeli occupation authorities.

The Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its stand on the rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to perform the rituals of their religion without any fear and restrictions.

Qatar also reaffirmed that it fully supports the Palestinian cause to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

It is a well-known fact that the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians is one of the old and longest-running conflicts still faced by the world.

It is to be specifically mentioned that this is actually a conflict between the two self-determination movements, the Jewish Zionist project and the Palestinian nationalist project  both  claim their right on the same territory.

The bone of contention between both of country is also the Israeli settlement. A large number of Israelis live in these settlement. At least 75 per cent of settlers live near the West Bank and share the border with Israel.

So, this settlement is also the biggest problem that is igniting the heat of conflict in relation to two nations, Israel and Palestine.
