Egypt: President – Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, has recently held an interactive meeting with Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouly along with other top officials of the government at the headquarters of the Strategic Command in the new administrative capital. 

According to the latest reports, the meeting was organized to discuss various matters, including the transition of the ministries to the new administrative capital.

On his part, advisor Ahmed Fahmy, the spokesman of the presidency, stated that during the meeting, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi briefed the executive position on the move of ministries and different government agencies to the new administrative capital.

He further mentioned that President El Sisi also shed light on the start of the actual transition of the Council of Ministers and a number of government agencies and sectors to the capital, reaching 14 governmental destination ministries while preparing the rest of the ministries and agencies to transition within the next short period.

During the meeting, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was accompanied by Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Dr Asim Al-Jazzar, Prime Minister of Defence and Military Production, Dr Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Housing, Facilities and Urban Communities, and the whole team of the Minister of Transport, Major General Ahmed Al-Azazi, Chairman of the Engineering Board of the Armed Forces, and Engr. Khaled Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Capital Administrative Company.

While extending his remarks, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi further pointed out that and directed continuously to work hard towards making the government’s move to the new administrative capital with all the settings a solid basis for the comprehensive update of the Egyptian administrative system.

He emphasized the smooth transition of the government agencies in a manner that characterizes governance and digitization, paying attention to institutional development, selection of the most competent elements in all institutions, qualification and training them professionally, technically and personally, in A framework of a serious and integrated training system, in order to make the most of the advanced technology and information infrastructure, built in the new capital.

In the end, it was also claimed that in line with the state’s path in comprehensive development, which updates infrastructure and magnifies human potential in parallel, within the framework of building and innovating the Egyptian state continuously.
