Middle East, Egypt: The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, has recently held an interactive meeting to get a brief follow-up on the developments of national desert land reform projects at the republic level today April 9, 2023. During the meeting, several top government officials and ministers were present to brief the President on the matters concerned.
According to the shared updates, the spokesperson of the Egyptian President, Ahmed Fahmy, shared the information through the official social media account. He cited that the meeting was an essential step towards the timely completion of discussion over important matters. Fahmy also added that the President went through the crucial topics during the session which needed to be addressed.
Furthermore, “Mr President has seen the joint efforts of various specialities regarding the expansion of projects in all directions to increase the size and productivity of the agricultural patch in Egypt, including projects in the regions of East Al-Awainat, Toshki, Sinai, Said and the New Delta, as well as future expansions in this The Resistance,” said Presidential spokesperson, Fahmy.
In addition, it was also said that during the meeting, the President of Egypt, El Sisi, also addressed the continuation of intensive work on significant projects underway in agriculture, irrigation, agricultural and food production sectors. During his address, he stated that the improvement in such industries is also under the government’s consideration and holds an essential place in the nation’s overall growth and development.
While addressing such important sectors, President El Sisi noted that the mentioned industries are increasingly important in light of the severe global challenges that have arisen in recent years.
In this context, he aimed to gather all abilities and experiences to enhance the success factors of these Projects, through meticulous scientific studies and comprehensive planning, with continuing attention in this regard to the proper use of water resources and maximizing the utilization of water unit productivity.
The Presidential spokesperson, Fahmy, added that the meeting came in the presence of Dr Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister Mr Al-Qasir, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reform, Dr Hani Sewilam, Minister of Water and Irrigation, and General War Staff Walid Abu Majd, General Manager of Service Projects System Nationalist, Major General Ahmed Al-Azazi, Chairman of the Engineering Board of the Armed Forces.
