Dominica: Melissa Poponne Skerrit – the Parliamentary Representative of the Roseau Central Constituency, has participated in the ‘Eggs-Stravaganza’ event held at the Pebbles Park during the Easter celebrations. She took to her official Facebook account to share a glimpse of the activities performed at the venue yesterday, 10 April 2023.

During the visit, the Minister of Housing, Land and Development, Melissa Skerrit, was accompanied by the Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, who is also her husband.

Through her official social media handle, she reached out to the people of the Caribbean island to extend her best wishes on the auspicious occasion.

While extending her warm wishes, she took to her social media account and uploaded a video consisting of a sneak peek of the organized activities during the celebration’s events held at the Roseau Central Easter Eggs-Stravaganza in Peebles Park.

In the beginning, Housing Minister Melissa Skerrit and Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit met with the children and gave them gifts and presents.

In addition, both the leaders were dressed casually at the celebrations to mix up well with the general public and to celebrate the special occasion with their people. Several fun activities were organized during the get-together event, along with fun rides and toys for the children. The kids were seen enjoying and playing around the whole park with their family and friends.

Moreover, two people were dressed as the Easter Bunny at the park, interacting with the kids and children and making them laugh through their fun activities. In the sneak peek video shared by the Parliamentary Representative of Roseau Central Constituency, Melissa Skerrit also showed that people were served eatables and snacks during the celebrations.

In her remarks, Minister Melissa Skerrit also shared that the people enjoyed their time in Pebbles Park and greeted each other with best wishes at the occasion.

The families made the most out of their visits and celebrated the event. In the end, she noted she also visited the nearby hospital to meet with the patients and get an update on their health. She also distributed gifts to them and wished for their speedy recovery.
