Prime Minister Drew also received an update on the construction of the new MRI facility which is being constructed on the hospital’s compound.

The government urged all the citizens and residents to stay informed through official channels and to follow the guidance, provided by NEMA and the other relevant authorities as the situation unfolds.

PM Drew is on personal leave but has still taken out sometime to speak with DBSKN St. Peter Football Club. While extending his wishes, the prime minister said that even though he is on personal leave, he took the time out to speak with DBSKN St. Peter’s FC via zoom call in the afternoon, in order to wish them success in tonight’s soccer game.

Drew enlightened about his dedication towards the development of sports, especially basketball and his relentless efforts to uplift the youth of the nation, that will forever remain in their memories.

The Campaign aims to address the crime and violence from a public health perspective through a collaborative, community-driven approach that involves various stakeholders, promotes prevention and fosters resilience.

PM Drew said that he got the opportunity to speak to the teams, not just as MP or Prime Minister but as the one who has previously served as past president and team doctor, as in the case of St. Peter’s and team doctor in the case of Cayon.

PM Drew considered the signing of the agreement and said that it was signed to launch the Mental Health Service System Enhancement Project, which is designed to strengthen the services and access to mental wellness care in the Federation.

Ministry of Health Laboratory Department received a donation of supplies from the Pan American health Organisation to continue the strengthening of the Laboratory Services at the Blood Bank.

The moment symbolised the commitment of the Cabinet and the Government to honour the dedicated service of the GAEs.

PM Drew delivered brief words of encouragement to the young participants, who are imploring them to take full advantage of the lessons that are being taught.

The federation aims on the issue of crime and violence, bringing together the senior government officials, along with the law enforcement personnel, civil society, non-governmental organisations, the youth and more for wide-ranging discussions on the important issue.

The prime minister further noted that he feels a sense of pride in knowing that his government is able to facilitate the compassionate act of ensuring GAEs that they receive exactly what they worked for over the years.
