Egypt: The Minister of the Environment, Yasmin Fouad, holds the periodic meeting of the reserves from the Ministry headquarters in the new administrative capital to explore ways to support investment in natural reserves in the Republic of Egypt.
On her part, Minister Fouad stated that the meeting was held in order to support investment in reserves and removing obstacles is one of the Ministry’s top priorities during the current period. “The need to finish the plans for rationalization of reserves as a first step to implement environmental management in its comprehensive concept gradually,” she added.
As per the reports, Yasmin Fouad, Minister of the Environment, held the Periodic Meeting of Reserves to explore ways to support investment in natural reserves in the Republic of Egypt, remove obstacles and facilitate supportive measures to attract investments in partnership with the private sector.
The meeting was attended by several officials such as Ali Abu Sunna, Executive Chairman of the Environmental Affairs Unit; Mohamed Salem, Advisor to the Minister for the Reserves Sector, and Ayman Hamada Raees, the Central Administration for Biodiversity and the leaders concerned, from the headquarters of the Ministry of Environment in the Administrative Capital.
The Minister of the Environment has expressed her happiness with the holding of the periodic meeting of the reserves at the ministry’s headquarters in the administrative capital, which is a model for environmental compliance and sustainability to be a launch for environmental work and to support the protection and investment in resources in order to preserve the rights of future generations in natural resources.
Dr Yasmin Fouad also emphasized the importance of supporting investment in reserves and removing obstacles as one of the most important priorities of environmental action plans during the current period.
She further pointed out that the near completion of rationalization plans and environment management with natural reserves to be revised and choosing the best ones to start the application and support the implementation of investment activities in partnership with the private sector to provide experience Distinctive and unique ecotourism in nature reserves that match international standards.
“The Logistics Plan for Reserves includes the identification of environmental sensitivity locations and areas of current and future uses as well as seeing the development and its requirements as the first organizational steps to apply the concepts of the Spoken and Environmental Management in its comprehensive concept.
During the meeting, Environment Minister also discussed the executive position and procedures to be followed during the current period on the system of extracting and renewing activity permits to facilitate the investment sector and attract it to environmental work.
Additionally, Minister Fouad discussed the ways to support the implementation of a tourism awareness program for those who are moving into the administrative capital from state employees in cooperation with the Central Organization for Regulation and Administration under the slogan “Know your country’s reserves.”
The program works to raise environmental awareness among employees and those who are moving around in the administrative capital to visit the reserves as part of the entertainment services provided to the workers in that huge statement that it is one of the hallmarks of the new republic, which considers investment in human beings and supporting their development in all practical and humanitarian aspects.
Dr Yasmin Fouad explained that the meeting discussed the environmental situation of the reserves and researched the problems of the Compensation and Darkness Committee and ways to improve and remove them, and the achievements of the beach decoration and the maintenance of scaffolding were also established in cooperation with the stakeholders.
